WCRS (1450 AM) was a radio station licensed to Greenwood, South Carolina, USA. The station was licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast on 1450 AM with an ERP of 1 kW unlimited, non-directional.
The station featured Citadel Media's Timeless Favorites satellite feed. This has been carried for many years. WCRS also carried The Rush Limbaugh Show. It remains licesnsed, but became silent in May 2009, along with its sister stations. It filed to officially become silent in July 2009.
In February 2010 it was purchased by Anne's Entertainment Vision, Inc, who also owns WLMA 1350am.
Peregon bought WCRS and WHZQ from Pro-Com Communications LLC in 2006.[1]
